SP27 is built to be used by everyone, which is the same idea behind "made for everyBODY." That applies to this website, not only to what we make.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, navigate by keyboard, or need higher contrast or larger text.
What we do
- Use meaningful text alternatives for product photography
- Keep text and background colors at readable contrast
- Make the store usable with a keyboard alone
- Structure pages with real headings so screen readers can navigate them
- Keep the store usable at small screen sizes and when text is enlarged
Where we know we fall short
We are a small, independent brand and this store is new. We have not yet completed a full third-party accessibility audit, and some parts of the site rely on themes and apps we did not build. We are working through these.
